2010 Battle of the Books Champs!

I'd like to congratulate the winners of this year's Battle of the Books competition in Highlands Ranch. All of the teams worked so hard, and it's a shame that only one team per grade level can win! But, every competition must have a winner, and this one is no exception. The champions of this year's Battle of the Books are:

3rd/4th Grade - Heritage Elementary

5th/6th Grade - Academy Charter School


A big enormous THANK YOU to all the coaches who did so magnificently with their teams this year! You guys are what makes this program amazing, and it has been an absolute pleasure working with you all! See you next year!

Schedule for the Finals

The Battle of the Books Finals are Friday, May 7th. The schedule is as follows:

6:00 Heritage vs. Trailblazer - 3rd/4th Grade
6:30 Academy Charter vs. Trailblazer - 5th/6th Grade

The finals are held after the library closes; we will have a side door open, as well as signs pointing everyone in the right direction. We hope to see a great turnout, so come and cheer on your team!

Wow! I know I say it a lot, but I have been so impressed with all of our teams this year! You guys are all amazing! I have had so much fun during this whole process, and tonight was no different. Here are the results for this evening's Semifinals (winning teams are highlighted in red):
