First School Battle!

At the end of last week I did my first school battle at Stone Mountain Elementary, and let me tell you - WOW!! I was so impressed with their kids; they are so knowledgeable and so excited to be a part of Battle of the Books. That's what it's all about for me; I love seeing these kids get all fired up over reading. Another great part - they had tons of parents that showed up to watch! At a school battle! Fantastic! Yet another reason to be super excited about this year's Battle of the Books. Please let me know if you have not yet scheduled a school battle and would like to - I want to be impressed by your kids too!
